Christmas TBR

There's hardly anything I love more than Christmas holidays. Because it's the one time in the year I just ditch everything and take the time to do absolutely nothing. Lazy days, cold weather and a christmas tree. It's the perfect environment for reading and watching tv shows. Since I spent the first couple of days catching up on tv shows, I thought it better to put together a small reading list for the coming ten days. Reading five books is probably a bit ambitious, but better aim high, right? I usually re-read Harry Potter over Christmas, but this year I've decided to catch up on my ever-growing tbr a little.

Top Ten Tuesday: Best Books Read In 2016

Top Ten Tuesday
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Every other week I will post a list of ten favorites in a certain book-related category.

10, 9, 8, 7 ...... HAPPY NE  I'm going to stop myself right there. It's not 2017 just yet, but the time has come to look back on everything 2016 has brought me. The releases, the books recommended to me, being part of the book community...  I don't know what to say. I'm lost for words. There were so many feels, so many characters I fell desperately in love with, so much magic and yes pain, but the good kind. It's been a good one! Reading-wise at least. Putting together a top ten was not easy. I read a little more than 50 books, a lot less than last year, but it still feels like almost every single book is worth mentioning. Choosing ten was honestly challenging. Perhaps you recognise the struggle. If so, tell me all about it!

Upcoming Releases: December 2016

upcoming releases december 2016 ya
... Can I still post upcoming releases on the 19th of the month? Ah well, I better can because this is how it is. I got a tiny bit behind schedule. To be perfectly honest, I'm not very impressed by the new releases this december. There is of course the new Falling Kingdoms book and the sequel to A Thousand Nights, but since I still haven't read the first books in those series I can't exactly go crazy about their sequels. I haven't added a single book to my TBR (I never add books of series where the first one is already on my list), not a single one! Is it me? Are you feeling the same? This all just seems... meh. Time to catch up on that very long tbr from previous months!

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life. What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him. Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other. She might be right.   Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

November Wrap Up

november wrap up
It's december, probably my favourite month of the year. YESTERDAY, WE PUT OUT THE CHRISTMAS TREE! There is nothing that screams 'HOLIDAYS' more and I just love to decorate. Which I couldn't do this year, because I got hit by the worst flu ever. I've been in bed since saturday, it is HELL. And I've got a headache so bad it hurts to think about books, let alone read them. After this post I'll probably crash down on the sofa and enjoy the beauty of the tree for a couple more hours.
