February Wrap Up

Hey guys! Long time no see.. This past week has been pretty crazy. I spent last weekend in the Netherlands with my favourite Dutch friends and it was really amazing and I absolutely didn't have the time to read or write blog posts. And this last week has been pretty much the same. A couple of evening meetings at work, making preparations for the trip I'm taking the coming week (also with work) and well.. 24 hours in a day just really aren't enough?

I think I might be in a bit of a slump, but it has more to do with lack of time than lack of will. The books I bought this month are SCREAMING at me to read them and all I want to do is pick them up. But I'm also reading Outlander and even though I'm really loving it so far, it's not exactly a fast read. AND, february had a day less! Haha, but I don't really think I can hide behind that, right? Anyone else experiencing something alike?
So I'll be gone next week, but I have planned some blog posts so even though I won't respond immediately, please do comment. You know I always love that! ;)

My haul this month included: Truthwitch (I really needed a hard copy), The Love That Split The World (was in my Owlcrate this month!) Passenger, Library Of Souls, Rebel Of The Sands and An Ember In The Ashes

Here's what I read. I loved all of them.

  1. I read Red Queen recently and am a little obsessed with this world now. I'm going to the bookstore later to see if they still have Cruel Crown. Buying Glass Sword might need to wait until April because I have a lot to pay for this month. Sigh. But I can't wait to read it!

    1. Oh, you definitely need to read it soon! I loved both, even though I had expected more from Cruel Crown. It's still really good to get to know Farley a bit better since she's such an important character in Glass Sword. <3

  2. YOU HAVE TO READ REBEL OF THE SANDS! I just finished it and ohhhh my god! It's not only an extremely pretty book but the story and characters. LOOOOOVE! ♥
